Story of the Wonderbalm:

Theme Rains, founder of Synthesis Organics developed the Wonderbalm during her own pregnancy to prevent scarring and stretch marks as her belly expanded (thanks Rosehip, Moringa, Shea*, and Cocoa butter).

Since then it has become an all-purpose balm for any dry areas of the face, body and even as a hair mask. Theme chose not to include any essential oils to ensure it is suitable for all stages of pregnancy and even for the most sensitive of skin. The balm only has the natural fragrances of the butters and vanilla bean. 

Post-partum, Theme used the Wonderbalm to heal aching areas (thanks Arnica and Chamomile Flowers) and to soothe baby's bottom (thanks Calendula Flowers and Hemp). For new mums, it can be used as a healing nipple balm (thanks Castor and Hemp). 

Raving fans love the balm as an all-rounder - as a rich hand and face balm for the cooler, drier months, and a fabulous lip balm anytime. We hope you love the Wonderbalm as much as we do too.  

*Note - the Shea Butter comes from a Fairtrade women’s co-operative in Ghana, empowering Mums to be financially independent and empowered.

How does it fit into my skincare routine:

Apply as needed to lips, hands, nipples, bruises, dry skin anywhere on the face or body to soothe, nourish and heal. Will melt into skin on application, forming a protective barrier. 

Vegan suitable with no beeswax used.
